MORE INFORMATION ON PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOLS
What are your minimum and maximum enrolment requirements?
The minimum and maximum enrolment requirements per instructor are 10 students and 20 students respectively for elementary schools, 10 students and 25 students respectively for intermediate and secondary schools.
Do students need to enroll for allĀ sessions?
Students are encouraged to participate in consecutive sessions throughout the school year as each are different, focusing on new skills, songs and routines, and on increasing proficiency in dance movement.
To guarantee a spot, UGD suggests registering in advance for future sessions. Alternatively, registration is accepted for one session at a time, however, space availability is limited and assigned on a first come, first served basis.
What does U GOT DANCE require from participating schools?
There is virtually no effort on behalf of participating schools; U GOT DANCE takes care of all details pertaining to the program. All a participating school needs to do is allocate time and space and distribute registration materials.
Are there any special equipment or space requirements?
U GOT DANCE can operate in the gym, on a stage, or in a large classroom. Students wear regular street clothes and running shoes.
How much does U GOT DANCE cost?
U GOT DANCE offers individual student and group rate options. For more information on our programs and prices, please speak with a UGD representative.
How does U GOT DANCE support participating schools?
UGD has an School Funding Plan that gives schools the ability to earn UGOT Dollars on extracurricular UGD dance programs, redeemableĀ on the purchase of curriculum-based UGD dance programs. For more information on this program, please contact a UGD representative.
Does U GOT DANCE carry liability and accident insurance?
U GOT DANCE carries appropriate insurance.
Are your instructors required to complete a police reference check?
Yes. Every instructor is required to have a completed police reference check before starting to teach at participating schools.
